CFS Independent Financial Advisers, was established in 1996 and is situated in Ponteland, Newcastle upon Tyne, in the prominent NatWest Bank Chambers building.

A transparent fee-based approach to charges. We are a strong advocate of fee-based advice and prefer to charge on a time or fixed rate basis, similar to other professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants. We believe this approach is most suited to providing impartial advice.
We distinguish between giving financial advice and effecting investment transactions. Having received financial advice from us, clients are under no obligation to effect any transactions. Our fees take account of the time spent, or likely to be spent, in carrying out the work, the complexity of the work, the skills of the person doing it, and our liabilities and regulatory obligations in respect of the work.
Many of our new clients are referred to us by professional connections such as solicitors and accountants, who are obliged to refer their clients to advisers with the necessary expertise and who are committed to the concept of independent financial advice.
